Jacqueline's first big role in a high-profile picture: she was brought in to replace Mia Farrow, who had just split with the movie's star, Frank Sinatra. Her face was on the cover of Look magazine, with an article and more pictures inside. This was her first brush with big fame.
She got special listing in the opening credits, at the end of the cast list: "Jacqueline Bisset as Norma MacIver".
