The Maid (1991) [American]
This little comedy, co-starring Martin Sheen, barely made it into
theatrical release in the US (according to what I have read). It has
been widely distributed on video. Jacqueline plays Nicole, an
investment banker in Paris. Anthony Wayne, played by Sheen, is another
banker, who has just moved to Paris and is settling in. He will be
working at the same firm where Nicole works (colleague or rival?).
Before he begins that job, however, he manages to get himself hired
as Nicole's maid, and "nanny" for her daughter.
Comedy and romance ensue.
