Believe in Me (1971) [American]
a.k.a.: Speed is of the Essence
Another film in which Jacqueline co-stars with
Michael Sarrazin; they had been living together since they met
making "The Sweet Ride".
Her character, Pamela, becomes addicted to speed.
"Speed is of the Essence" was a production (working)
title, which was also the title of the article it
was based on. I have seen promotional stills with that title.
"Believe in Me" is not available on video, and I've never seen it
on TV.
Below is a publicity photo from "Believe in Me"
of Jacqueline with Michael Sarrazin |

Another publicity photo:
"before" and "after" becoming an addict. (She has
the worst haircut in this movie.)
